When shall i tell my parents the good news?

Iv just found out im 5 weeks pregnant after trying for 7 months although my parents don’t know i wanted it to be a surprise i`m wondering if i should tell them so soon?

I told my parents when I first found out – mainly because my mom’s a nurse and I needed her advice. But I’ve heard that you shouldn’t tell family/friends until after your 1st trimester. It’s bad luck to tell too early. Once you make it to the 1st trimester your in the clear from having a miscarriage. I think that’s the main reason why they suggest to wait a bit before telling everyone.

good luck & congratulations!!
