challenges of parenting multiples

challenges of parenting multiples
I might go searching for my first job. Advice?

Hi. I’m 15 and live in Australia. Since I always ask for money from my parents, I think I’ll get a job. =]

I’ve done a whole week of Work Experience helping mentally challenged children at a school. I’ve received a positive review from that and the contact of the teacher I worked with.

I also have multiple certificates from school, regarding my role in a leadership crew and grades.

Is that all that’s generally required? With a resume?

Also, if you’re sick, do you have to call the workplace a few days in advance? Or could you call on the day that you’re supposed to be working? And is there a limit to how many sick days you can have?

Really, any details would help. Thanks in advance! :]

Live long and prosper. M/

First of all, I think it great that you are looking for a job at your age. So congrats! When you fill out your resume, adding the one week of experience and review of your teacher, and your certificates is a great idea. Most places will take in consideration your age and see that you have a great start and not expect more than the experience you have now, but will rather see that you have room to grow. About sick leave. If just depends on who you work for and what their rules are on the subject, but most places understand that you can’t predict when you will get sick and know that you can’t give 2-3 days notice. But if you call in all the time for this reason or another, it can look bad on you. Anyway..good luck
