co parenting contracts

can my friend co sign a tmobile contract with me?
I want to get a new phone at tmobile. (G1) but my parents are being bogus right now and I was wondering if my friend can cosign for me. If It is possibile could I be able to put the bill under my name?
like have it automatically charge my debit card?

Frankly, I think he’d also have to be out of his mind to agree to it since his credit is on the line.
