middle school parenting tips
how can i convince my parents to let me go to a school dance?
i want to go to this sockhop/dance at my school(middle school) but my parents are like overprotective. i really want to go with my friends bc my school dances are really fun. but idk how to convince my parents to let them know im responsible enough to go. there are even teachers around at the dance!! plz plz plz help. i like HAVE TO go. any tips or advice?
p.s im 12 and in 6th grade
I’m in sixth grade too! Here’s a tip= don’t piss of your parents any time within a week of the dance. School dances really are FUN…aren’t they? try telling your parents that teachers will be “supervising” the dances and if they don’t believe have them call a teacher to confirm that you guys won’t be left alone without adults… maybe ask one of your friend’s parents to try to convince your parents to let you go
