parenting disrespectful children
how to deal with a woman’s disrespectful children?
hello hello there i been with this women for several months now and i have a problem with her children.. all 3 of them don’t want to listen to me and barely listen to there mom unless she yells at them.. also them fear there grand parents.. how can i fix this.. im trying not to put my hands on them.. but im tired of this and almost want to break up my relationship because of her children but its kinda hard
let me clear this up.. we are not in the date stage.. my bad for typing that wrong.. second we live together… 3rd we both go to school.. she is a lpn.. and i have spoken to her about her kids and i think she knows but i think she ignores it
Only being with her for these few months does not make it your place to say anything, yet. You can’t fix what sounds like has been broken, way before you ever showed up. I suggest you show them that you will not tolerate their behavior by ignoring what they do or say. They have figured out how to push your buttons. Children are very smart and pick up on your attitude, when they get going. Defuse the situation before it ever gets out of hand. You might try distracting them when you think they are playing their mind game with her or you. She should not talk to them for an entire day. Wait and see their reaction then explain to them in a calm voice that this is how it is going to be from now on. We can ignore you just as easy as you can ignore us. Give them some of their own medicine. If you truly love her than stick this one out. Stay strong and be the man in their life that was there for them while her children were growing up. Good luck!
