Should the children of deported parents be forced to go with them unless they are at least no longer minors?
That illegal who left her son here when she was rightfully returned to Mexico recently had been caught breaking our immigration laws and deported once already. Then she broke the law again and snuck back in. Do the math and she immediately concieved a child. Then she broke another law and stole a social security number to get a job. Having been caught, this “three striker” elected to leave her son HERE. A little KID! She droped him here to make a point. My mom would have never done that to me! She’s not allowed back in for a visit. We should keep a watch on the boy. If she shows up, it should bring a jail sentence. Then he can visit her in Calipatria State Prison, or perhaps Donovan. It’s closer to the border and Warden Hernandez has many special programs for incarcerated illegals.
They have a choice and could take their children. They leave them, hoping for an anchor to bring them back. Many of them wrongfully scream their home nations won’t accept their children. In the case you mention, Mexico grants citizenship to the children of Mexican citizens who are born in other nations, they simply have to file a form at a consulate.
This 3-striker should have been charged, tried and imprisoned. Simple deportation saved her from heavy fines and a lengthy jail-term. They scream and rant about separating families, but many of the illegals leave children in their home nations when they come here and their supporters don’t seem to have a problem with that hypocrisy.
One woman with an anchor baby left 3 children in Mexico and when her husband died in the bridge collapse went public asking for assistance to return his body to Mexico and bring her 3 children here. She and her husband were illegal aliens.
It is a tragedy for her to lose her husband and in that I’m sympathetic, but it ends there. She should be deported. It’s her choice what to do with her child. If’s she’s a true mother, she would take her child with her. But then, she never should have left Mexico and her other children.
We aren’t separating families, they are doing so with their choice to commit illegal acts.
