can i leave school is this legal?? PLEASE help?
i live in perth Australia WA i am 15 and my birthday is 15th of september i left school this term and am now looking for a traineeship or apprentishp i have a few lined up and just need to complete the job trials until one may accept me which im sure will happen. My Parents are telling me if i dont go back to school i will get a $1000 fine from the goverment, i dont see why. Am i alowd to do this i am activly looking for employment in a traineeship and i will soon have one but in the mean time do i HAVE to go back to school or is it okay what i am doing.
i am confused and i really want to know the truth

Sweetie, regardless if you get fined or not, Go back to school. I quit school when I was 3 months away from graduation and am now 34yrs. old, I have regreted it everyday. I cant find a job that I like let a lone one that pays anything worth doing. The truth is, no one is going to hire a 15 yr old for any kind of traineeship and if they do,,,,I would be very concerned. The gov. like your parents, dont want to see anyone your age give up your education. It is the one thing that you should work very hard at and continue until you graduate. Time goes by too quickly and before you know it school will be done, enjoy your youth and dont be so quick to grow up. You have the world in front of you, dont make life harder on yourself by quitting school. Please Please, go back and finish your education.
