At what age do you plan on sending your child to kindergarten?
I’m sending my daughter next year- she’ll be 5 turning 6. I did this because it seemed to be what other parents were choosing to do, and I didn’t want her to feel awkward when she gets older and is a 13 yr old freshman (for an example).
What did you do, or what are you doing? What was your reason for doing it?
My daughter has been going to daycare since she was 3 and is also ready to go- believe me, I’ve taken that into consideration as well.
My son was 5 going on 6, but I didn’t have a choice. I couldn’t send him earlier, they wouldn’t accept him, and later I would have gone to jail for keeping him out of school for too long.
